Be the Good.
York Drama puts on at least three productions a year, and this past year has even produced two full length films. Yearly season themes are used to ground our educational theatre practices, and have included the exploration of such critical topics as love, empathy and courage. Past productions have included the high school premiere of Pasek and Paul’s Dogfight and Oberacker and Taylor's Ace, Broadway classics, Shakespeare and contemporary literature, while working with professional alumni and actors and directors in the Chicago, New York and L.A. areas.
All York students are encouraged to join our Drama Club. Whether you're interested in being on stage, joining the crew, participating in our community events, or experiencing live theatre and clinicians with us, there is a place for everyone! Drama Club is the central hub of York Drama, and is where all other information on the program is shared.
All York Drama parents and family members are encouraged to get involved with the York Drama Boosters, an organization dedicated to supporting the efforts and community-building of the program.
